My first multi-timbral patch in pure data. Fm synthesis.

This delta binaural beats is exactly 2hz apart and loop perfectly at 30s. Set at the low base frequency of 40hz and 42hz, it's a relaxing hum.

This is a drum sound i've synthesized using the great free (gpl) synthesizer zynaddsubfx. Arranged and rendered to 32-bit float wav @ 192khz using lmms (linux multimedia studio) - electronic music production program. Divided into separate files and converted to 24-bit flac using audacity. Looking at the spectrogram waveform display of https://freesound. Org/people/ivolipa/sounds/344948/ i noticed a few patterns. Distinct bands of high volume at around ~600hz, ~1200hz, ~1800hz, the fade in volume toward higher frequencies, a ubiquitous noise, and the soft staccato rhythm. Using these facts, i tried to make yet another engine sound with fm-synthesis. Sound forge 7 — to my knowledge — lacking a spectrogram, i've no clue if this was a successful attempt, but it does have a vaguely engine-like sound.

A long series of granular synthesis glitch-style oddness, could be used for interrupted transmissions, tuning in an old radio, galactic strangeness, and the like.

Self modulating a standard doepfer a-110 vco. We are listening to a square wave. I'm modulating with a sinus. I'm wiggling pwm and the degree of self modulation (and attack and decay). Spring reverb and analog delay from stomp box.

Arturia's microbrute has a lot of facets and possibilities to use them.

Just some experimenting around with my modular. . . . . I take a signal from an lfo and split. I invert one of the signals and mix them.

Same patch as in electronic minute no 226 and 227 but on my real modular. I'm using a filter. Thats why i call this version subtractive. I'm subtracting harmonics from a square wave. Why are 226 blue? probably because i did it at work. . . Listening in bad earbuds. Makes you rise the bass. Lets see if i can make this wave ble at the end! i will slowly fade out the vco with high pitch. At the very end i'm switching the synth off.

This sound took me a while i used warehouse machinery at the beginning as the gun is turning to its target and when it finished with an alarm and light sound indicating its powering. The charge & fire sound is all synthesis layered several sounds on top with each other also using eq, compressor ect.

This is a "happy birthday to you" rendition to celebrate the 15th freesound birthday (april 5th 2020). The sound has been made by researchers of the music technology group of universitat pompeu fabra (i. E. Where freesound happens!), and voctrolabs. The sound uses choir synthesis technology developed for the trompa eu project. This means that what you hear are not real singers but synthesized voices generated by a computer! the score adaptation for choir is based on a score published in the choral public domain library. . Wav created from a "save us" image in a frame. . Added and lowered some frequences with some eq. Simple in and out automation low pass filter. Fade with volume. And a bunch of compression. When you use this noise. Just remember, this was created from an image that said, save us.
